Rob’s Anarchist’s Tool Chest

Rob's Anarchist's Tool Chest

Well, well, well, look what the cat dragged in! It’s been a minute, hasn’t it? Before I dive headfirst into the exciting world of knife making (get ready for some sharp content!), I wanted to take a quick stroll down memory lane and revisit a woodworking project from way back in 2020. Ah, simpler times.

This beauty is my humble take on Christopher Schwarz’s iconic Anarchist’s Tool Chest. And let me tell you, it’s a solid piece of work. The main body is crafted from sturdy southern yellow pine, while the lid boasts a striking combination of cherry and maple. For the floor, I went with tongue and grooved laurel oak, because if you’re going to build something, you might as well build it to last a lifetime, right?

This chest isn’t just a storage solution; it’s a testament to good, honest woodworking. It’s been patiently waiting for its moment in the spotlight, and today’s that day!

Stay tuned for more updates, especially as I start sharing my latest adventures in knife making!
